Torche are an American metal outfit hailing from Miami, Florida. Formed in 2004, the band consists of frontman Steve Brooks, guitarist Andrew Elstner, bassist Jonathan Nuñez, and drummer Rick Smith.

Known for their sludge/stoner style metal, Torche would first emerge with their self-titled debut album in 2005, and soon found themselves to be regulars on the tour circuit, having shared bills with the likes of Mogwai, Coheed and Cambria, The Sword, and many more. They’ve since put out four more records, most recently with 2019's 'Admission'.
