Trouble are a doom metal band from Aurora, Illinois, currently consisting of Kyle Thomas, Bruce Franklin, Rick Wartell, Mark Lira and Rob Hultz.
Formed in 1979, they are considered one of doom metal's 'Big Four' pioneers, alongside Candlemass, Pentagram and Saint Vitus. After a series of demos, the band released their debut album 'Psalm 9' in 1984. They have since added a further eight full-length records to their discography—including, most recently, 2013's 'The Distortion Field'—plus seven live albums for good measure.
