TV on the Radio is an American indie/art-rock outfit hailing from Brooklyn, New York. Formed in 2001, the band currently consists of frontman Tunde Adebimpe, guitarist David Andrew Sitek, multi-instrumentalist Kyp Malone, drummer and programmer Jaleel Bunton, and bassist/keyboard-player Gerard Smith.
Currently signed to Interscope, TV on the Radio originally made their bow with their Radiohead-inspired, self-released debut ‘OK Calculator’, and haven’t looked back since - the band have now released five more successful and acclaimed studio albums, hitting Top 20 in the US charts and earning them fans worldwide. Best known for tracks like Golden Age, Wolf Like Me, Staring at The Sun, Will Do, and more, TV on the Radio have become a popular live act too, and seem to be a hit on television screens - they’ve played on Jools Holland, Saturday Night Live, Letterman, The Colbert Reports, and more! TV On the Radio released their latest album, 'Seeds', with a launch show at London's Oslo in October 2014, and played even more UK gigs supporting it in February 2015.
