Villagers are an indie-folk band from Dublin, Ireland.
Formed in 2008, they released their debut studio album 'Becoming a Jackal' in 2010, which was nominated for a Mercury Prize and a Choice Music Prize. They have gone on to land support slots for the likes of Mumford & Sons and Then National, and have put out a further six full-length records to date including, most recently, 'That Golden Time' in 2024. Villagers will celebrate the tenth anniversary of 'Darling Arithmetic' with special shows in London and Dublin in May 2025.
