We Came As Romans are a metalcore band from Troy, Michigan.
Formed in 2005, the band released their debut album 'To Plant A Seed' in 2009, with their sophomore record, 2011's 'Understanding What We've Grown To Be', bringing them huge amounts of success within their scene. They have since added another four records to their discography, with the most recent being 2022's 'Darkbloom'. In August 2018, the band announced via a statement on social media that vocalist Kyle Pavone had died at the age of 28, later sharing details of the Kyle Pavone Foundation, which was established by the singer's family following his death. We Came As Romans have announced Australian shows for August and September 2023, before heading across North America in the fall.
