Weaves are a Canadian indie pop band from Toronto, consisting of vocalist Jasmyn Burke, guitarist Morgan Waters, bassist Zach Bines and Spencer Cole on drums.
Formed in 2014, the band released their debut self-titled EP that year, via Buzz Records, followed by their debut self-titled album in June 2016. The band are set to release their second album, ‘Wide Open’, on October 6, 2017. The band have headlined their own shows, as well as having supported the likes of Beach Slang and Sunflower Bean and have performed at SXSW Festival.
