Ween are an American alt-rock band based in New Hope, Pennsylvania. Formed in 1984, it consists of two friends; Aaron Freeman and Mickey Melchiondo, otherwise known as Gene Ween and Dean Ween.
Meeting in a high-school class, the pair would go on to make eclectic and diverse alt-rock and released nine albums together, from their 1990 debut 'GodWeenSatan: The Oneness', to 2007's 'La Cucaracha'.
