Wizkid—real name Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun—is an Afrobeat singer-songwriter from Lagos, Nigeria. He is well known for featuring on Drake’s One Dance.
His debut album, 'Superstar', attracted the attention of some of the biggest names in hip hop and R&B, bagging him guest vocal spots on Drake's One Dance and Beyoncé's Brown Skin Girl. Since then, he has released a further four full-length studio albums, including his most recent, 'More Love, Less Ego', in 2022. Wizkid will support his new album with the More Love, Less Ego Tour, which hits London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in July 2023. He'll also headline the inaugural Afro Nation Miami in May. In July, he'll top the bill at Rolling Loud Germany in Munich, and in August he'll headline Øya Festival in Tøyenparken, Oslo, Norway. The North American leg of the More Love, Less Ego Tour has been postponed until fall 2023, with new dates still to be confirmed.
