The Wychwood Music Festival was launched in 2005 by a group of festival enthusiasts, who wanted to create an intimate and thrilling weekend festival experience, delivering the best acts of the day, up and coming music, and some other specialities you might not ordinarily come across.
Set in the idyllic Prestbury Hills at Cheltenham Racecourse, the festival is known for its family friendly feel, big range of music, plus loads of other activities, including 100 workshops for all ages, comedy, cinema and much more. Wychwood has been Nominated for Best Family Festival every year in the UK Festival Awards.
2017 saw the likes of Billy Bragg, Buzzcocks, The Levellers, and Orchestral Movements in the Dark as headliners, as well as performances from The Stypes, Let's Eat Grandma, Flamingods and Cabbage.
The 14th edition of the festival in 2018 had headliners Baxter Dury, the Gipsy Kings featuring Nicolas Reyes and Tonino Baliardo, and Shed Seven. Also appearing was Feeder, the Beat featuring Ranking Roger, the Go! Team, Nina Nesbitt, Ten Tonnes, Lucia, and the Bar Steward Sons of Val Doonican.
Wychwood Festival returns to Cheltenham Racecourse in May 2019. Check out the festival ticket information below on Stereoboard.
