Launched in 2005 by a group of festival enthusiasts who wanted to create an intimate and thrilling weekend experience, the event is known for its family-friendly feel, eclectic range of music, plus loads of other activities, including workshops, comedy, cinema and more. Wychwood has been Nominated for Best Family Festival every year in the UK Festival Awards. Previous years have seen sets from Sam Ryder, Billy Bragg, Buzzcocks, Baxter Dury, Shed Seven, Texas, Feeder, The Levellers, James, Happy Mondays, Embrace, Lightning Seeds, Deacon Blue, Ocean Colour Scene, Sister Sledge, Let's Eat Grandma, Flamingods, Doves and Cabbage, among many others.
