YG, real name Keenon Daequan Ray Jackson, is an American rapper from Compton, California.
Starting his music career in 2009, he released his debut single, Toot It and Boot It, which resulted in his signing to Def Jam. He released his debut album, My Krazy Life, in 2014, which hit #2 in the Billboard Hot 200. He released his second album, 'Still Brazy', in 2016, which reached #6 in the Billboard Hot 200. YG put out 'Stay Dangerous', in 2018, and followed it up with '4Real 4Real' in 2019, supported by shows across the world including Australia and New Zealand, the UK, Ireland and Europe. In 2019, he toured North America, and now has teamed up with Ty Dolla $ign for their co-headline Go Brazy tour of the UK and Europe in winter 2019.
