Young Fathers are an experimental indie group from Edinburgh.
Formed in 2008, the band quickly became an integral part of their local scene, with their 2013 mixtape 'Tape Two' winning them the Scottish Album Of The Year. Word quickly spread across the UK and beyond, with the band's debut album 'Dead' winning them the Mercury Prize in 2014, and six of their tracks appearing on the soundtrack for T2 Trainspotting in 2017. They have since put out a further three studio albums the most recent being 'Heavy Heavy' in 2023, which also earned them a Mercury Prize nomination and three BRIT Award nominations.
