Zeal and Ardor is a Swiss metal project fronted by founder Manuel Gagneux. Formed in 2014, Zeal and Ardor is known for it's avant-garde sound, influenced by messages left in response to Gagneux on the message board 4chan - it combines elements of black metal with African-American spiritual/Christian music, and other experimental styles.
Releasing a self-titled LP in 2014, Zeal and Ardor's first proper album, 'Devil Is Fine', would drop in 2016 via Bandcamp, and was re-released the following year on MVKA. 2018 saw the project return with its next record, 'Stranger Fruit', which they toured around North America.
Zeal & Ardor took on a winter UK and European tour in 2018 supporting the new album, and have next set their sights on Australia for 2019. Catch them live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.
