Zola Jesus, real name Nika Danilova, is an American singer-songwriter and musician from Phoenix, Arizona. She is known for her eclectic and experimental mix of modern industrial and electronic sounds with gothic and classical styles.
Starting her music career in 2006, she released her debut album, ‘The Spoils’, in 2009, which was followed by ‘Stridulum II’, in 2010, ‘Conatus’, in 2011, ‘Versions’, in 2013 and ‘Taiga’, in 2014. She released her latest album, ‘Okovi’, in September 8, 2017 via Sacred Bones. She has headlined her own shows and tours across North America and Europe, including supporting the likes of The xx, Fever Ray, and Former Ghosts. Recently she toured North America through autumn 2017, with UK shows taking place in October and November. She's back to co-headline a tour with Alice Glass in spring 2018.
