Cant wait for Finsbury Park shows!!
Sheffield Motorpoint Arena on November 18 2013
Probably one of the best atmospheres at a gig I have ever experienced! It was never going to be a quiet affair when the Arctic Monkeys make their homecoming! On top form as per usual and amazing to see them in their home town, whats also brilliant is that the fame hasnt gone to their head and turned them arrogant, they seem just as down to earth as they did when they first started out. Loved the show, the set and production was brilliant! All in all great songs, great gig, great band!! Roll on Finsbury Park!

First time seeing the Arctic Monkeys
Cardiff Motorpoint Arena on October 29 2013
It was my first time seeing Arctic Monkeys, perfect vocally and amazing atmosphere. You would think that the stereotypical rock star life may have altered the way they are, perhaps coming across as a little arrogant or self-centred, but no. They are down-to-earth and seem to be genuinely enjoying the performance and the crowd response.
Their set consisted of material from new album 'AM' mostly, as well as classics such as Brianstorm and I Bet You Look Good, Mardy Bum... Anyone who has seen the Monkeys before would agree that Alex Turner had the crowd in the palm of his hand. Great entertainer and showman. So glad I saw them live!

You'll struggle to find a better live band...
Newcastle Metro Radio Arena on October 22 2013
Having conquered Glastonbury, it was time for Arctic Monkeys to turn their attention to UK arenas in support of their latest album 'AM'.
Arriving on stage to a huge applause, the Sheffield mob begin with 'AM' lead single Do I Wanna Know, before continuing the frenzied pace with Brianstorm, Snap Out Of It, Arabella, Pretty Visitors and - addressing the Geordie females - I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor, their most popular track which propelled them to stardom back in 2005. Despite many tracks not making the setlist, there's a great blend of songs from each album, focusing heavily on their latest, which is arguably their best.

THE best rock band in Britain!!
London O2 Shepherds Bush Empire on October 31 2013
Hands down THE best rock band in Britain!! I last saw the band way back in 2007 but to say the Sheffield band has evolved would be the biggest understatement ever!!
Whereas before they didnt really have enough material to bulk out massive headline shows, now they have music in abundance and it is very easy to forget just how many hits they can add to the setlist! They're all there, from the most recent cuts of Do I Wanna Know, from new album 'AM', to the frenzied sounds of Brianstorm, Teddy Picker and I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor. Its immense, even if we didnt have time for my personal fave When The Sun Goes Down.
