Sam Sweeney is a multi-instrumentalist folk musician from Nottingham.
He began his career in 2002 as a part of folk band Kerfuffle, in which he sang and played fiddle, viola and cajon until the group disbanded in 2010. His musical credits also include work as part of Bellowhead, Hannah James And Sam Sweeney and Eliza Carthy and the Wayward Band, also participating as backing musician for countless other projects. He has also released four albums as a solo artist, with the most recent being 'Escape That' in 2022.
