Black Submarine is an English rock band that formed back in 2008. Previously known as Black Ships, a moniker they modified in 2012, the band is somewhat of a supergroup: frontman Nick McCabe and bassist Simon Jones are ex-Verve members, and they’re joined by singer Amelia Tucker, Davide Rossie - who’s worked with Coldplay and Goldfrapp - on strings, and drummer Mig Schillace.
Known for their unique, experimental brand of rock, the band have earned themselves fans across Europe as well as the UK and are often seen touring. Having released a handful of EPs and singles, Black Submarine released their debut album ‘New Shores’ in February 2014 and you can catch Black Submarine performing in support of it across the UK in October 2014!
