Take That Tickets & Tour Dates 2015
Take That are an English pop band hailing from Manchester. First formed back in 1990, the group now record and perform as a trio of Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald, currently without founding members Jason Orange and Robbie Williams.
Formed after Nigel Martin-Smith decided to create a teen male vocal group in the style of New Kids on the Block, and soon, after auditions brought them together, Take That would find their way on to televisions and radios with a stream of Top Ten singles and albums, including the likes of Never Forget, Back For Good, Relight My Fire, Could It Be Magic and Babe. Fast forward to today, and Take That have sold over 80 million albums, had 13 #1 LPs, 17 #1 singles, performed in front of millions of fans live, won 19 BRIT Awards, eight MTV awards and five Ivor Novello awards - and the list goes on and on.
Having split in 1996, Take That returned as a foursome in 2005, and then in 2010, be once again reunited with Robbie Williams for the Progress tour and album. Progress Live saw Take That break all records for ticket sales, selling over 1.1 million tickets in a single day, and even crashing multi-national ticketing websites and telephone networks, as fans scrambled to get tickets to their shows, which were being held in stadiums across the UK and Europe.
Take That are defined by some of the most memorable and spectacular live productions in UK music history. Previous tours have included everything from aerialists, circus performers, a wall of water, holograms, a giant elephant and on the 'Progress Live' tour a 60ft robot. The band’s shows have never failed to excite and surprise their audience and next year’s are sure to be no exception. With Progress Live still one of the highest-grossing and best-attending live ventures the globe has ever seen, Take That are ready to move on to their next - they return to UK and Ireland arenas in May 2015, following up the release of their new album with a marathon 24 date tour.
The trio put out 'III' in December 2014, and headed out on their UK & Ireland tour in the spring, where they played a long series of arenas across the UK, including London's O2 Arena, Birmingham's Genting Arena, Newcastle's Metro Radio Arena, and more.
In September 2015, Take That take on a sporting role to send off the England Rugby Team as they head to the Rugby World Cup. The concert takes place in London's O2 Arena - if you fancy reaching it, get your tickets below!
