ImageRed Hot Chili Peppers new album 'Stadium Arcadium' has leaked to the internet, a week before the album is officially released.

File sharing networks are experienceing a surge in traffic as thousands of fans queue up to download the double CD release which won't hit the stores or legal download sites until Monday 8th May.

MP3s of the Californian veteran rockers new release went online this morning (Sunday 30th April) and is currently being seeded as a torrent file from torrent tracker http://inferno.demonoid.com, while hundreds, potentially thousands, of websites and blogs are linking into the torrent for unofficial download.

The album is also expected to proliferate around the Internet on various file upload sites within the next 24 hours. It is suspected that the receiver of a promotional advance copy of the album is responsible for the leak.

The 28-track album is split onto 2 CD's, appropriately entitled 'Jupiter' and 'Mars'. The tracklisting is as follows:

ImageDisc: 1 (Jupiter)

2. Snow (Hey Oh)
3. Charlie
4. Stadium Arcadium
5. Hump De Bump
6. She’s Only 18
7. Slow Cheetah
8. Torture Me
9. Strip My Mind
10. Especially In Michigan

8. Make You Feel Better
9. Animal Bar
10. So Much I
11. Storm In A Teacup
12. We Believe
13. Turn It Again
14. Death of a Martian

Although we haven't checked out the authenticity of the download as yet, we are told that the download IS genuine.

As always we do not condone downloading by this method, and point out that the album is available to legally own next week from all the usual stores and download sites.

You are a bunch of nipple heads. The only worng doing is having to re-buy the last few to get the unreleased stuff - that's bogus.
Download, buy it - who cares - just enjoy it and don't steal.

plus - the album is amazing and worth every penny.

Written by Guest on Friday, 05 May 2006
Who cares? you guys can wait if you want. I'm not gonna pay for it cause I don't like the Chili's that much, not wasting money on a CD that I might only listen to a few times and then decide I don't like. Downloading 4 life

28. shame on you
Written by Guest on Thursday, 04 May 2006
surely you can wait one more week for an album they spent a very long time on: so why now?
they rule, and you are theives if you are really that impatient.
I totally agree with Mia Wallace.
27. hmm..
Written by Download Manager on Thursday, 04 May 2006
download it, not to download, download it, not to download, download it, not to download. 7 days more to wait. aarghhh..
26. umm yea

And just to make it clear - downloading is more than ok if you have no money to eat, steal fckin cd.

And I know what I'm talking about!

Send me a link, please...
24. I'm somewhat annoyed
Written by Guest on Thursday, 04 May 2006
I was hoping it wouldn't leak, but I knew it was inevitable. I downloaded it, it's not bad quality. 192 kbps LAME encoded mp3's, but I'm listening to the first 30 seconds of each song and deleting them. No sense wasting the experiencing of hearing it all on CD all the way through as the first time.
23. Call yourself a fan
Written by Guest on Wednesday, 03 May 2006
Surely a true fan would realise the work that has gone into this record has been astronomical. Surely a true fan of RHCP and a fan of John's in particular would realise that listening to a version which is most likely ripped off VH1.com's "HEAR MUSIC FIRST" in what can only be surmised as terrible quality compared to the 1024Kb/s that one would hear from a CD! Call yourselves fans and you couldnt wait the extra 7 days for a version of this album that can be heard the way it is intended! Call me a killjoy but you aint no fan!
22. Real fans
Written by Guest on Wednesday, 03 May 2006
I personally feel that my chili peppers albums stand out from the collection, they're sacred, and my prized possesions,so i don't want them looking like every other crappy CD-R that i have.I think true chili peppers fans feel that the band's music has changed their lives.it has certainly changed mine, and all the money i've spent on tickets and albums etc of the band, couldn't have bought the hapiness they give me.
If you want to download it,go ahead, but if you're a true chili peppers fan, you'll own the art.
