You say this about CD Quality but i for one dont listen to cd's all of mine is mp3 on my pc or iPod
and i dont rip loseless due to huge files and draining battery life (iPod)
I just rip at around 200 kbps and cant even tell the difference |

I was hoping it wouldn't leak, but I knew it was inevitable. I downloaded it, it's not bad quality. 192 kbps LAME encoded mp3's, but I'm listening to the first 30 seconds of each song and deleting them. No sense wasting the experiencing of hearing it all on CD all the way through as the first time. |

Surely a true fan would realise the work that has gone into this record has been astronomical. Surely a true fan of RHCP and a fan of John's in particular would realise that listening to a version which is most likely ripped off VH1.com's "HEAR MUSIC FIRST" in what can only be surmised as terrible quality compared to the 1024Kb/s that one would hear from a CD! Call yourselves fans and you couldnt wait the extra 7 days for a version of this album that can be heard the way it is intended! Call me a killjoy but you aint no fan! |

I personally feel that my chili peppers albums stand out from the collection,they're sacred,and my prized possesions,so i don't want them looking like every other crappy CD-R that i have.I think true chili peppers fans feel that the band's music has changed their lives.it has certainly changed mine,and all the money i've spent on tickets and albums etc of the band,couldn't have bought the hapiness they give me.
If you want to download it,go ahead,but if you're a true chili peppers fan,you'll own the art.
