Squeeze to Play Teenage Cancer Trust Concert in London Next Week & Tickets

London rockers Squeeze are due to play live at the Royal Albert Hall in London next week with a bit of help from artist Damien Hirst. The show, which will take place on Tuesday 22nd March as part of the Teenage Cancer Trust concerts, will feature two guitars and a drum kit signed by Hirst and hand-painted with his iconic spot design. These special instruments will then be sold at Christie’s auction of Post-War and Contemporary Art to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust and the Love Hope Strength Foundation.

Squeeze will be joined onstage by a 30-piece orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall on 22nd March. The show will also include a performance from The Feeling, who will be supporting Squeeze at the event. The classic London venue will be hosting the annual Teenage Cancer Trust fundraising concerts all week and will also see performances by Biffy Clyro, Roger Daltrey, Beady Eye, Editors and Tinie Tempah.

Simon Davies, CEO of Teenage Cancer Trust said: “We’ve been staging our concerts at the Royal Albert Hall for over ten years and had some huge stars perform for us, but we’ve never combined such exceptional art and music in such a creative way before. We can’t wait to see Squeeze play the instruments and hope they raise lots of money to help more young people in the UK fight cancer.”
