Mark Knopfler has enlisted dozens of big names for a new charity single.

The track, a new version of the former Dire Straits vocalist and guitarist's 1983 instrumental Going Home: Theme of the Local Hero, features over 60 rock legends, including Bruce Springsteen, Queen's Brian May, The Rolling Stone's Ronnie Wood and Guns N' Roses' Slash.

It'll arrive on March 15, though you can check out a preview below. All proceeds from the release will benefit Teenage Cancer Trust and Teen Cancer America. The song also marks the final recording from Jeff Beck before his death in January 2023.

The collective of guitarists, dubbed Mark Knopfler’s Guitar Heroes, are joined by The Beatles icon Ringo Starr and his son Zack Starkey on drums, with Sting playing bass, and Roger Daltrey on harmonica. The song was produced by former Dire Straits keyboardist Guy Fletcher.

The annual Teenage Cancer Trust concert series will return to London's Royal Albert Hall in March, hosting performances from The Who, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Young Fathers, and The Chemical Brothers. There will also be a star-studded night billed as Ovation featuring sets from Robert Plant with Saving Grace, Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder, Paul Weller and Kelly Jones, along with an Evening Of Comedy.
