Phoebe Bridgers has scheduled a series of intimate UK album launch shows in partnership with independent record stores.
The four-time Grammy-winning artist will celebrate the release of ‘Lost Weekend’, due out this week, with performances at London's Union Chapel, Kingston's Circuit, Brighton's Chalk and Bristol's Electric Bristol between August 17 and 21.
She'll play two sets in London with Rough Trade on August 17, a matinee starting at 4pm and an evening show at 7:30pm. Kingston's Banquet Records will host two performances at Circuit on August 19, at 4:30pm and 7pm, while Brighton's Resident Records will also host two shows at Chalk on August 20, with matinee and evening peformances lined up. The same format will follow in Bristol with Rough Trade on August 21.
As with Bridgers' recent shows in the US, phones, smartwatches and other recording devices will not be allowed, with fans provided with Yondr pouches.
Album bundles for her evening shows go on sale at 10am tomorrow (August 13), while her matinee performances go on sat 10am on Friday (August 14), the same day Bridgers releases 'Lost Weekend' via Dead Oceans.
Having recently teased the record with the single Lost Boys, Bridgers will support it with the sold-out The Lost Tour across North America this fall, featuring support from Alex G, followed by the UK and European leg in the winter, with Isaac Wood opening.
