Sami Yusuf Announces Show At London's Shepherds Bush Empire & Tickets

British singer-songwriter, composer, producer and an accomplished musician Sami Yusuf has announced a show at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on Wednesday 1st June as part of his Wherever You Are Tour.

Endowed with a strong cultural affiliation to music and having studied music with several renowned composers, including those from one of the world's most prestigious music institutes – the Royal Academy of Music in London, music is his destiny. A young, British-Muslim instantly became the talk of the town in lands as far and diverse as Egypt and Turkey. Sami is one of the UK's biggest exports in the last decade.

In the course of 7 years, he has masterfully navigated through unchartered waters – he has won over the hearts and minds of millions from across the Middle East, Europe, North America and North Africa. Sami was soon headlining CNN, BBC, ABC and Al Jazeerah and was hailed by Time magazine as Islam's biggest Rock Star and The most famous British Muslim in the World, by The Guardian. His shows are also grand and highly personalized. His most notable show saw a staggering 250,000 people packed Taksim Square in Istanbul, Turkey.

Where his albums are concerned his groundbreaking debut ‘Al-Muallim’ sold over 3 million copies only  then to be succeeded by his second release highly acclaimed ‘My Ummah’, selling well over 4 million copies. A passionate advocate of unity, cross-cultural appreciation through promotion of universal values and celebration of the human spirit has manifested both musically and philosophically in his third album, ‘Wherever You Are’ – out now.

Sami however, dismisses fame and glory. For him, his position as an artist is a sacred trust, a trust best honoured in serving humanity. Sami has worked with charity Save The Children and released charity
single ‘Hear Your Call’ for the Pakistan flood victims. For the London show Sami has teamed up with War Child, he says:

“My partnership with War Child is a reaction to the crisis erupting in the MENA region as well as in support of their present sphere of work. This partnership will help extend War Child's reach to the rapidly changing parts of our world. Challenges are numerous and so are the opportunities. The show at O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire is intended to help illumine the lives of countless children whose present is overshadowed by an uncertain future. Help me in this endeavour to uplift the lives and make the future of our youth brighter".

Charmed by his good looks and manners so heart warming, the young amongst his fans would emulate what they saw in Sami, a leader. His fans wouldn't shy away from admitting Sami's music had changed their lives – for the better.
