Stereoboard Users Call for Michael Forever Cancellation

The users of Stereoboard.com have joined in with the ongoing argument over the Michael Forever tribute concert.

At the end of our previous article we asked you the readers to tell us whether you thought the show should still go ahead – and the page was overwhelmed with responses saying that you wanted it cancelled.

With well over 50 comments on the event, just three of you supported the show and wanted it to go ahead. Patti Simmons simply wrote ‘the show must go on.’

Another supporter, Nicola Lesedi Heywood, was more passionate in her comment, writing “I know this might cause some hate to me..but you know what I want the concert to go ahead.....i really would like to see a concert for michael he wouldve liked that..prehaps some better artists I agree with that... but don't we want to spread L.O.V.E for michael and his message...least everyone can come together and enjoy something special which is michaels music and legacy.....”

The rest of you, however, were extremely avid in your calls to cancel the gig. An interestingly named user called ‘Holy Crotch Grab’, who is apparently employed as a ‘Full Time MJ Defender’, demanded “CANCEL IT! This tribute it's a joke! it's not only for profit, but also it's during the Conrad Murray trial, how much more disrespectful can it be?

“If you want to make a good tribute for Michael, use all this money and donate it to charity in his name! That would be a good way to keep MJ's memory alive!”

Along with the lengthy paragraphs some of the more hardcore fans wrote, there was dozens of short messages echoing the command of cancellation. Eva Huppertz wrote: “Cancel and show some respect for the King of Pop!” while Katja Veritas said “If you really care about Michael's legacy, cancel!”

Stereoboard and its users have been closely following the Michael Forever tribute concert ever since its announcement a couple of weeks ago. If you’d like to share your opinion on the concert, leave us a comment below.
