Download Festival 2012 Announcement Coming on Monday 16th January

Following confirmation that The Prodigy, Metallica and Black Sabbath are to headline the main stage at Download Festival 2012, organisers have revealed that more bands will be announced on Monday 16th January. Time to start-up the rumour mill again!
Iconic British dance legends The Prodigy will headline the Friday night of Download’s 10th Anniversary weekend, joining Metallica who play on Saturday and the reunited Black Sabbath who play on Sunday.
Any ideas who might be added to the bill on Monday's announcement? Earlier today, British heavy-metal legends Judas Priest confirmed a show at London's HMV Hammersmith Apollo for the end of May. Could they be preparing for a show at the hallowed grounds of Donington?
Loads more bands are set to be announced over the coming weeks. Check back to Stereoboard on Monday 16th January when we'll be posting details on the new additions to the line-up as soon as it is announced.
Download Festival weekend ticket prices will remain the same as the prices for Download 2011 until midday Monday 30th January 2012 when all ticket types will go off sale. All tickets will go back on sale at 5pm Monday 30th January 2012 with Weekend tickets increased to 2012 prices. Fans should take advantage of this offer while it lasts!
