Leonard Cohen To Play Only UK Appearance Of 2012 At A Day At The Hop Farm & Tickets

Legendary singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen will make his only UK appearance of 2012 at A Day At The Hop Farm, a stand alone live music event that takes place on the same site as the popular Hop Farm Festival.
The Hop Farm Music Festival takes place from 29th June - 1st July 2012 and following the weekend bash, Leonard Cohen will give his only UK performance of 2012 at the site on Saturday 8th September. Expect a set around 3 hours packed full of classic Cohen songs as well as new material from his Number One album 'Old Ideas'. The open air concert, which will have a smaller capacity than its big brother Hop Farm Festival, will be part of Cohen's current world tour and will also feature support acts throughout the day.
Speaking about the concert, Vince Power, Chief Executive Officer of organisers Music Festivals plc, said, "To get the opportunity to bring Leonard Cohen to the UK for his only appearance this year is a fantastic and humbling achievement. He is one of the undisputed forefathers of modern folk music and has honed his craft for nearly half a century. We are delighted he's decided to perform for us for what will be a truly memorable experience."
