The Walkmen Announce Intimate Performance At London's Village Underground

American indie rockers The Walkmen have announced a one-off date in London's Village Underground this June 12th.
The show will see the band giving a rare intimate performance and will come just a week after the release of 'Heaven', which will be their seventh studio album. Tickets are onsale Friday and will cost around £20.00 – so make sure you grab yourself a pair of tickets to see the band in what will be their most personal show for a while.
The Walkmen formed back in 2000 after members of Jonathan Fire*Eater and The Recoys joined forces. The New York-based band put out their first album 'Everyone Who Pretended to Like Me is Gone' in 2002 and have released prolifically since then, putting out seven EPs and five more albums – with their latest LP effort 'Heaven' on the way. Speaking of 'Heaven', the band wrote on their website: “Hi everyone. Our album is finally done and we're thrilled with it. We can't wait to get it out there.”
