Folk-rock outfit Mumford & Sons have revealed the release details of their currently-untitled forthcoming new album.
The band are setting off on a UK tour this summer, as well as performing at a number of festivals across the country – and have also just finished work on their new record, the follow-up to 2009's 'Sigh No More'.
So, whilst performing live in the Dutch city of Landgraaf for this year's Pinkpop Festival, frontman Marcus Mumford told the crowd that they'd be releasing the brand new LP on September 24th later this year.
The band will also be holding their own festivals this summer, and, speaking of one, multi-instrumentalist Winston Marshal told NME: “We know there are shitloads of festivals in Britain and no-one needs a new one. But what we thought was missing was a high-quality, inner-city event where you can take over the city itself.”
