Savage Messiah And Flayed Disciple Added To Bloodstock Open Air 2012

Bloodstock Open Air has announced two more acts for this summer’s event.

British thrashers Savage Messiah bring a deadly dose of modern metal to the Sophie stage on the Friday night. For a taste of what to expect, download latest album 'Plague Of Conscience' for free via their labels website at www.earache.com.

"On behalf of everyone in the band I'd like to say how much we're looking forward to being part of the Bloodstock Open Air festival in 2012. The bill looks really strong so to be included is a huge honour. Thanks to everyone who has been plugging us relentlessly on twitter/facebook etc..we'll see you at the front!"

Joining them are trashing death metallers Flayed Disciple. Recently seen on tour with Cerebral Bore and Aeon, the former "Metal 2 The Masses" winners look forward to returning to Catton Hall: "It's been an awesome ride since winning the Metal 2 The Masses competition and playing the New Blood Stage back in 2010. We've played some great tours and met some incredible bands since then, but there's no event that means more to us than Bloodstock. To be invited back this year and to play the Sophie Lancaster Stage is unreal"

With more exclusive appearances than any other festival, headline sets from Behemoth, Alice Cooper and one more to be revealed on 6th June, and a whole host of rides, comedy and other festival fun, Bloodstock is set for its most exciting year yet.

Bloodstock Open Air 2012 takes place at Catton Hall August 9th – 12th. Click Here to Compare & Buy Bloodstock Open Air Tickets. Further information on this year's event is available from www.bloodstock.uk.com.
