Paul Simon has announced the UK and European leg of his A Quiet Celebration Tour for spring.
After completing the US leg this summer, the legendary singer-songwriter will bring the intimate concert series to Prague, Berlin, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris, performing multiple shows in each city from April 9 to May 4.
He'll then head to the UK for a show at Liverpool's M&S Bank Arena on May 7, followed by two nights at Glasgow's SEC Armadillo and two dates at London's Royal Albert Hall, before concluding the run at Dublin's 3Arena on May 20.
Each show will open with a full performance of 2023's Grammy-nominated 'Seven Psalms', a 33-minute continuous piece recorded entirely on acoustic instruments and performed predominantly by Simon. This will be followed by a second set of classics and rarities, newly arranged for the tour.
Simon will be backed by a full band, featuring Mark Stewart on guitar, Bakithi Kumalo on bass, Steve Gadd on drums, Andy Snitzer on saxophone, Jamey Haddad on percussion, Mick Rossi on piano and keys, Gyan Riley on guitar, Nancy Stagnitta on flute, Caleb Burhans on viola, and Eugene Friesen on cello.
Tickets for all dates go on general sale at 10am local time on Wednesday (December 17).
