Bloc Party Share New Single Pigwig From Upcoming Album 'Anatomy Of a Brief Romance'

Bloc Party have released a new single.
Pigwig is the final song to be shared from the London band's new album, 'Anatomy Of A Brief Romance', ahead of its September 11 release. Introducing the dynamic alt-rock track, frontman Kele Okereke said:
“‘Pigwig’ is about the moment of realising that you have been hit by a very big love. Almost as if it’s against your will. During our relationship Pigwig was my pet name, after the Beatrix Potter character - the partner of Pigling Bland - an inside joke that meant a lot to us at the time. Looking back this song is probably one of the sweetest on the album as it recalls a memory of a romantic seaside trip at the most magical point of our relationship."
The British indie giants will celebrate the new record with special intimate shows at UK record stores throughout the first half of September, with extra dates recently added to the run due to demand. Later in the year, they'll co-headline a winter UK and European tour with Interpol. Tickets are on sale now.
