Founded in 2005 by Paul Raymond Gregory and Vince Brotheridge, the festival hosts several different stages, including the Sophie Lancaster stage and the New Blood stage, where metal’s best up-and-coming acts showcase their skills. In the past, the festival has seen performances from the likes of Motörhead, Trivium, Machine Head, Within Temptation, Rob Zombie, Slayer, Behemoth, Opeth, Nightwish, Gojira, Emperor, At The Gates, Devildriver, Watain, Suicidal Tendencies, Fozzy, Combichrist, Bloodbath, Lamb Of God, Architects, Conjurer, Septicflesh, Killswitch Engage, Pallbearer, Sabaton, Scorpions, Parkway Drive and many more!
