Bloodstock is an annual British heavy metal festival held in the grounds of Catton Hall in Walton-upon-Trent .
Formed in 2005, it was founded by Paul Raymond Gregory and Vince Brotheridge. It hosts three different stages, including the Sophie Lancaster stage and the New Blood stage, where metals best up and coming acts showcase their skills.
The festivals has seen performances from the likes of Cradle of Filth, Children of Bodom, Motorhead, Trivium, Within Temptation, Rob Zombie, Slayer, Behemoth, Venom and Metal Allegiance.
Bloodstock 2018 saw Judas Priest, Nightwish and Gojira headlining, with sets from Emperor, At The Gates, Devildriver, Watain, Suicidal Tendencies, Wednesday 13, Jasta and friends, Fozzy, Combichrist, Bloodbath, Venom Inc, Conjurer, Septicflesh and Pallbearer, plus many more.
