Bloodstock is an annual heavy metal festival, held in Derbyshire

Founded in 2005 by Paul Raymond Gregory and Vince Brotheridge, the festival hosts several different stages, including the Sophie Lancaster stage and the New Blood stage, where metal’s best up-and-coming acts showcase their skills.

In the past, the festival has seen performances from the likes of Motörhead, Trivium, Machine Head, Within Temptation, Rob Zombie, Slayer, Behemoth, Opeth, Nightwish, Gojira, Emperor, At The Gates, Devildriver, Watain, Suicidal Tendencies, Slaughter To Prevail, Fozzy, Combichrist, Judas Priest, Lamb Of God, Architects, Conjurer, Septicflesh, Killswitch Engage, Pallbearer, Sabaton, Scorpions, Parkway Drive and many more!

Bloodstock will return to Catton Park in August 2027, with headliners Mercyful Fate, Electric Callboy and Motionless In White. It will also host a Winter Gathering at KK's Steel Mill in December 2026, featuring Candlemass, Raised By Owls, Hellripper and more.
