November 2012 sees the tenth anniversary since Cheryl, Kimberley, Nadine, Nicola and Sarah burst onto the scene after winning Popstars The Rivals.
Girls Aloud have reportedly agreed to perform at The Royal Variety at London's Royal Albert Hall on November 19th in front of the Queen and her family.
A source close to the band told the Daily Star newspaper: “Being asked to perform at the Royal Variety Show is massive for the band. They performed in 2004 when they were at the height of their fame so it’s fitting that they would return eight years later. It’s the Variety Show’s 100th anniversary and the line-up will be full of A-listers. It will be one of the Queen’s final engagements of a year which will have seen her Diamond Jubilee and the Olympics."
The girls have also landed a 75 minute documentary to be aired after The X Factor live final results in December. '10 Years of Girls Aloud' will be screened to celebrate the huge success that the girls have achieved and also the run up to their reported come back performance at the Royal Variety.
The fivesome are also said to be planning a comeback tour, album and the possibility of singing the new Children In Need single.
