Following months of rumours and a few mysterious tip-offs on their official Facebook page, the Rolling Stones look set to finally step back onto the stage this November.
The Rolling Stones are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year, however, fans are still waiting for the band to announce some special celebratory shows. It has been long rumoured that the band are to reveal some special concerts to mark the milestone, although, as yet, the veteran rockers have remained tight-lipped.
Things look set to change next week. A source close to Billboard.biz has revealed that the band will play two shows at London's O2 Arena and two shows at Brooklyn's Barclays Center this November. In addition, to back up these dates, the band's official Facebook page currently states that:
"On Ruby Tuesday 4th September, some news is coming and we want you to be a part of it.

The source has also revealed that Richard Branson and Australian promoter Paul Dainty will promote dates, with the Stones being paid $25million (just over £15.5million). Not bad for just four live shows!
This latest news follows Mick Jagger's comments to the London Evening Standard, where he revealed that the band would be playing at some point in 2012. Check back to Stereoboard for updates.
