Led Zeppelin Call Reunion-Obsessed Journalist 'Schmuck'

The members of rock and roll legends Led Zeppelin got into a bit of a huff with journalists at a New York press conference, after being asked if their brand new concert DVD ‘Celebration Day’ would lead to some new reunion gigs.

Robert Plant and co. have seemingly grown tired with the constant barrage of fans, reporters, and music journalists who want nothing more than a Led Zeppelin reunion - and yesterday’s conference saw Plant insulting one of them using the word ‘schmuck’, proving that at least some part of Plant’s mind is stuck in the past.

Plant told reporters who asked of a reunion: “We've been thinking about all sorts of things. And then we can't remember what we were thinking of. Schmuck. There are some people in here who are not journalists. There's a masseuse in here who's not a journalist. I think that's ever so exciting.”

One brave soul then asked whether the new live DVD would satisfy their rabid fan’s hunger for a real life Zeppelin return, to which Plant said: “Sorry! We're pretty good at what we do but the tail should never wag the dog, really. If we're capable of doing something, in our own time, that will be what will happen. So any inane questions from people who are from syndicated outlets, you should just really think about what it takes to answer a question like that in one second. We know what we've got, you know.”

The new film will be screened in select cinemas from October 17th, and you’ll then be able to buy it on DVD on November 19th. You can check out the tracklisting below.
