After months of speculation, veteran British rockers the Rolling Stones will be back on stage for TWO nights at London's O2 Arena this November!
The confirmation of the two shows follow months and months of rumours and speculation, with the latest tip-off surfacing just last week by the band's long-time saxophonist Bobby Keys who confirmed the veteran rockers will be on stage next month.
The iconic four-piece will step back on stage for concerts billed as 'The Rolling Stones: 50 Years And Counting', celebrating their 50th anniversary as a band. The group will also play two shows at the Prudential Center, Newark, near New York, on 13th December and 15th December.
Speaking about the shows, Mick Jagger commented: "Everybody loves a celebration, and London and New York are two good places to do it in!"
Guitarist Keith Richards added: "Sorry to keep you all hanging around but the waiting is over. I've always said the best place for rock and roll is on the stage and the same is true for the Stones. I'm here with Mick, Charlie and Ronnie and everything is rocking. See you very soon!"
In addition to the live shows, the Stones are also releasing new compilation 'GRRR!’ next month, featuring two brand new songs. Check out 'Doom And Gloom' here. Further details on the new collection can be found here.
Probably the most anticipated concerts of the year, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts will perform on Sunday 25th November and Thursday 29th November at London's O2 Arena. The Rolling Stones Tickets are on sale from 9am on Friday 19th October.
