Legendary rockers The Rolling Stones have lined-up two huge UK concerts, which will see them performing at London’s O2 Arena in celebration of their 50th anniversary. Earlier this week, on Monday 15th October, British rock icons The Rolling Stones announced details of their hugely anticipated live return to stages in London and New York. The announcement followed months of rumours and speculation that the band were to perform a few select shows to celebrate their 50th anniversary.

Speaking about the anticipated concerts, Sir Mick Jagger says: "Everybody loves a celebration, and London and New York are two good places to do it in."

Guitarist Keith Richards added: "I've always said the best place for rock and roll is on the stage and the same is true for the Stones."

While some fans have been outraged by the price of tickets for the concerts, a legendary rock n roll band like The Rolling Stones performing live on stage in front of you is never going to come cheap.

The iconic British rockers will step back on stage for concerts billed as 'The Rolling Stones: 50 Years And Counting', celebrating their 50th anniversary as a band. The group will play two shows at London's O2 Arena on on Sunday 25th November and Thursday 29th November and two shows at Newark's Prudential Center, near New York, on 13th December and 15th December.
