The Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood has fuelled rumours that the band will perform more comeback gigs today, after telling press at the premiere of new Rolling Stones documentary ‘Crossfire Hurricane’ that once the ‘wheel is turning’, it won’t be able to stop.
The band are set to perform four epic comeback gigs this November and December - two in London, two in Newark. Tickets sould out in record time earlier this morning and the band have also been heavily linked with a headline slot at Glastonbury 2013, but it’s unknown whether there’ll be anymore comeback gigs, and there has only really been fan speculation about the potential of them. But now, Wood has sparked new hope for fans who won’t be making their London and Newark gigs by admitting that the band may not be able to stop once they get back into the flow which saw them become the legendary band they are today.
“Once this wheel is turning I don't think it will be able to stop,” Wood teased. “We won't be able to stop.”
