Legendary rockers The Rolling Stones have responded to Emily Eavis’ recent comments which saw her confessing that she would love to get the band to headline Glastonbury 2013 - by saying they’d love to get onto the festival’s bill too!
Mick Jagger and co. have become the hottest and most-talked about band’s of the year after revealing that they’d be playing four comeback gigs in the coming months - two in London, and two in Newark. With tickets selling like wildfire after going onsale today, Emily Eavis - daughter of Glastonbury boss Michael Eavis - revealed their plan to try and secure the band for the 2013 return of Glasto - and the plan looks like it may indeed be coming together.
Speaking at the premier of ‘Crossfire Hurricane’ - a brand new documentary about the band and their 50th anniversary - Keith Richards confessed: “I don't know [about Glastonbury] yet. That's next year right? I'd love to though.”
While Glastonbury 2013 is already looking to be one of the biggest yet (tickets at the first sale sold out in record time), the addition of The Rolling Stones would take it to the next level. Would you like to see The Rolling Stones headlining? Let us know in the comments section below.
