English pop singer Ellie Goulding has claimed that she will still work with American brostep star Skrillex, despite the two recently splitting.
The pair, who dated from February until late October this year, have worked on a lot of music together since they met, most recently their successful collaboration ‘Bittersweet’ from the Twilight: Breaking Dawn part 2 soundtrack. Many thought that their split may have signalled the end of their work together, but Goulding has claimed that they’ll stick by each other despite breaking up.
“Me and my ex Sonny (Skrillex) are good mates, we're even going to make music together next year,” she told The Sun. “Our own little project which will be released. Everyone loves the Twilight track. We work really well together, we've found we really do connect in that way. It will be something a bit more electronic, it won't be like my music.”
She continued on to talk about their split, saying: “It's literally because we didn't see each other enough. It's really sad. He's one of my best mates, it's a shame. He is a really beautiful person, he's the nicest human being.”
