Bestival Reveal First Acts Of 2013 Line Up - Snoop Dogg And Elton John To Headline

Can you believe that 2013 will see Bestival hitting those magic double figures? That’s right, Bestival is ten and organisers are really pushing the boat out for what promises to be the biggest and best year ever.
To start the 2013 celebrations for a whole decade of dancing on the Isle of Wight, Bestival have just revealed the first acts of 2013's line-up.
The three-day festival has announced headline performances from Snoop Dogg (Saturday) and Sir Elton John (Sunday).
2013 will mark the 40th anniversary of Sir Elton’s 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road' album and the star, who makes his major UK festival debut at Bestival, has revealed he will be picking tracks from the record to include in his set.
Sir Elton was excited to be making a festival appearance, stating “When the opportunity to play Bestival came up I was very interested.”
Other acts announced for 2013's Bestival include M.I.A, Franz Ferdinand, the Flaming Lips, Bombay Bicycle Club, Belle & Sebastian, Jessie Ware, Squarepusher and the Polyphonic Spree.
In addition to the above, festival curator Rob Da Bank has just confirmed via Twitter that Wu Tang Clan will also be performing at the festival.
