'I Really Don't Think Randy Blythe Is Guilty', Says Slash

Guns N Roses star Slash has claimed that he ‘really doesn’t think’ that Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe - who’s currently on trial for manslaughter - is guilty, ahead of the next trial day on March 4th.

Blythe was previously held in prison for 38 days after being arrested at Prague Airport in June 2012, because of an incident in 2010. A fan at a Lamb of God concert in the same city died after falling from the stage - and Blythe is accused of assisting in his death by pushing him from the stage.

After being release on bail in August last year, he returned to the US, but stated that he would return to the Czech Republic to fight his case and clear his name. He’s currently in the midst of the case, with Day 4 taking place on February 7th and Day 5 scheduled for March 4th. Today, he’s received the support of legendary guitarist Slash, who believes the star is 100% not guilty.

Speaking in an interview with BEINTV - which you can check out below - Slash said: “Well, I mean, I know as much as I’ve been told from everybody I know in that camp, and it’s a strange, unique situation. I think that when he first came over here and he put up his bail and they never let him out and he kept paying, they kept paying and paying and paying and they never let him out, I said, 'What the fuck is going on here?’”

Slash continued: “And so finally they let him out and now it’s actually going to trial and I really don’t think he in any way, shape or form, is guilty. So they’re gonna, you know, let this thing run its course I suppose, and you know, because the judicial system here is so different that he was able to stay in jail here for so long, who knows what the verdict’s gonna end up being, it’s hard to say.”
