Kanye West Claims Ranking At Just #7 In MTV's Hottest MC List 'Bothers' Him

Not one to harbour an ego, Kanye West is always magnanimous in defeat, is never sore loser, and is grateful when he does win. And after ranking #7 in the prestigious MTV Hottest MC List, he was more than happy to be featured on the list.
Sarcasm aside, West is actually super-pissed off that he’s not been given the #1 ahead of the likes of Rick Ross and Nas, and has told US radio station Hot 97 that the #7 rating ‘bothers’ him.
“Yeah, #7 bothers me. To me, I feel like in order for them to put me as #7, they had to bring up things they didn't like. They didn't like the 'Cruel Summer' album, and I'm like, 'That's just [a] compilation’.”
As the tears strolled down his face, he continued: “I don't know, it's definitely not based on a body of work. It possibly could just be like overall rap MC swag. What happens is, with these type of things... they don't like 'Givenchy' Kanye, they don't like Kanye in a kilt, they don't like Kanye in a relationship.”
