Last year, Ohio duo Twenty One Pilots signed to prestigious label Fueled By Ramen and have since had a whirlwind 12 months. They’re now ready to hit the UK with their label debut album 'Vessel' to be released later this year and following a sold out show at the Barfly in March the band have announced a small UK run, playing three dates in June, kicking off at O2 Academy in Birmingham on 1st June, playing Manchester Academy on 5th June and The Garage in London on 6th June.
Having already self-released two albums, the first in 2009 and second in 2011 the duo quickly attracted serious label attention following a sold out hometown show in Columbus – known for their irrepressible on-stage energy, Twenty One Pilots have built an avid international following with their crazy live performances.
'Vessel' sees the duo expanding upon the distinctive fusion of piano-driven indie-rocktronica, ably supported in the studio with producer Greg Wells (Weezer, Adele, Aerosmith) behind the board.
