Wednesday, 08 May 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

American rockers The Maine have unveiled a brand new lyric video for their track ‘Love & Drugs’ - which they’ve also given away as a free download.

The band are currently waiting on their fourth studio album ‘Forever Halloween’ to hit shelves on June 3rd, and ahead of it’s release - via Rude Records in Europe, the UK, Southeast Asia, Australia and Japan, and independently in the US in partnership with their management team Eighty One Twenty Three - they’ve given fans a brand new track to quench their thirsts.

‘Love & Drugs’ follows ‘Happy’, which is the first single off the forthcoming album, and is available for purchase and stream along with the pre order bundles for the album. You can check out ‘Love & Drugs’ below - or download it for absolutely free from the band’s website here.

The album, produced by Brendan Benson of The Raconteurs, will be the band’s second consecutive self-funded release, following their departure from Warner Bro. Records. Talking of working with Benson, frontman John O’Callaghan commented:

“To be seen and treated as an equal by someone you hold in high regard is a gratifying and refreshing feeling. [He] opened his studio doors, did that and much more which helped provide the platform to create an album we can now all stand behind.”

Check out the new lyric video below, and keep your eyes peeled for the album next month!
