If we asked you to name a place where to get sweaty and delirious, drink a ton of water and have a great time with your mates, we’d expect two different answers from two different kinds of people. Health-freaks would say the gym and loved-up clubbers would say a rave. However, those two places are now poised to merge together, as a new early-morning rave workout is set to sweep the nation.
The idea comes from Sam Moyo and NicoThoemmes, who have set up a ‘club’ in Shoreditch, London, that invites those intimidated or put off by a normal gym to come and shed weight in a much more fun and enjoyable environment - throwing shapes to rave music.
Would you cancel your gym membership and hit an early morning rave before work? You could be losing the pounds, busting moves, drinking smoothies, hula-hooping and maybe even telling the DJ to pull up a track!
Having trialled the idea at festivals up and down the country, the pair are hoping to expand should their Shoreditch club prove a hit.
