Queens of the Stone Age have unveiled their take on Arctic Monkeys’ recent single Why’d You Only Call Me When You're High?
Josh Homme and co. hit the BBC Radio 1 studios to play their own stripped-back acoustic version of the latest Arctic Monkeys single, which hit #8 in the UK Singles chart in August.
Queens of the Stone Age are promoting their latest album ‘...Like Clockwork’ and are also set to perform at London’s Roundhouse tonight, for the sixth day of the iTunes Festival. You can check out their BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge cover of the Arctic Monkeys track below.
Arctic Monkeys on the other hand are just days away from releasing their brand new fifth studio album ‘AM’, which is set to hit shelves on September 9, and has already birthed three Top 30 singles. The band are well and truly on form but drummer Matt Helders has revealed that they’ll call it day when they’re unable to match their incredibly high standards.
