Tool And Mastodon Members Form Supergroup Legend Of The Seagullmen

Mastodon's Brent Hinds, Tool drummer Danny Carey and Off! and Burning Brides guitarist Dimitri Coats have joined forces to create the supergroup Legend Of The Seagullmen.

The Seagullmen is the brainchild of brothers Frank, Chris and David Dreyer, who have made movies and put on concerts about the band's legend in recent years.

 Discussing Mastodon's Hinds with Rolling Stone, Frank Dreyer said:

"He learned his true calling in life and is now a part of the Legend of the Seagullmen. His other bands — Mastodon, Fiend Without a Face, and West End Motel — are just excuses for him to travel the world and hunt for the 'Man O’ War Man."
