Jake Bugg Lines Up June Release For New Album 'On My One', Shares New Track Gimme The Love

Jake Bugg will release his new album, 'On My One', in June.
The follow up to 2013's 'Shangri La' is set to arrive on June 17 through Virgin EMI. The singer-songwriter produced the majority of the record, with Jacknife Lee also lending a hand. Discussing its title, taken from the Nottingham saying for 'on my own', Bugg said:
“In a lot of ways it sums up this record because it mainly has been me on my own. I saw this as the logical next step in my development as a songwriter. It was a challenge but something I felt I had to do.”

Bugg will play a summer Forest Live date and a quartet of low key London shows. He will head to Sherwood Pines forest on June 23, with his London run taking in stops at Village Underground, the Tufnell Park Dome, Electric Brixton and Bush Hall early in March. Tickets go on sale at 9.00am on March 2.
