Monday, 21 March 2016 Written by Jon Stickler

Joanne Shaw Taylor will open several of Joe Bonamassa’s UK dates in July.

The British blues singer-songwriter will join Bonamassa for three shows on his Salute to The British Blues Explosion tour, which sees him playing homage to the greats of the genre, at Newark Castle, Hoghton Tower stately home in Preston and the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich, London. Speaking about the dates, Taylor said:

"I am thrilled to have been asked to join the amazing Joe Bonamassa on these dates. He has paved the way for the genre and it’s an absolute honour to be playing in front of his, and my fans in such beautiful venues around the country especially after recording my album in Nashville with members of his band, and long time producer Kevin Shirley."

In the meantime, she heads out on tour with Wilko Johnson as his special guest next month.
