Festival season is well and truly upon us, with a bunch of great events still set to play out as the summer winds up and autumn takes over. Head below for a rundown of the best fests poised to weave their magic in 2016.


Reading & Leeds

When? August 26 - 28

Where? Richfield Avenue, Reading and Bramham Park, Leeds

Headliners: Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Biffy Clyro, Fall Out Boy, Foals and Disclosure

About: Reading and Leeds Festival is a split site rock music festival, which has seen some of the world’s biggest music acts headline during the August bank holiday weekend.

Creamfields

When? August 25 - 28

Where? Daresbury, Cheshire

Headliners: Calvin Harris and Tiesto

About: Creamfields is a large-scale dance music festival held in Cheshire over the August bank holiday weekend.

V Festival

When? August 20 - 21

Where? Hylands Park, Essex and Weston Park, Staffordshire

Headliners: Justin Bieber and Rihanna

About: V Festival will return to Hylands Park in Essex and Weston Park, Staffordshire, over the weekend of August 20 and 21 for its 21st birthday celebrations. Justin Bieber and Rihanna will headline.

OnBlackheath

When? September 10 - 11

Where? Blackheath Common, London

Headliners: Primal Scream, Belle & Sebastian, Hot Chip, James

About: On Blackheath is a London festival that pairs music and offerings from the world of food.

South West Four

When? August 27 - 28

Where? Clapham Common, London

Headliners: Rudimental and the Chemical Brothers

About: South West Four, the annual inner city music festival, which began in 2004,  will return to Clapham Common, London on August Bank Holiday weekend.

Sundown Festival

When? September 2 - 4

Where? Norfolk Showground, Norwich

Headliners: Chase & Status, Jess Glynne, Jason Derulo, Years and Years and more.

About: Sundown Festival is based in Norwich and first took place in 2011. It features dance acts and DJs.

Caught By The River Thames

When? August 6 - 7

Where? Fulham Palace, London

Headliners: Low and Super Furry Animals

About: This music, literature, beer and nature two-day festival will take over Fulham Palace in London on August 6 and 7

The Big Feastival

Where? The Cotswolds
